Tony-nominated Hamilton star Christopher Jackson has joined the lineup for PBS' A Capitol Fourth, which will be broadcast July 4 beginning at 8 PM ET; check local listings. Tom Bergeron hosts.

Broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, the musical extravaganza will feature performances by the previously reported Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Smokey Robinson; platinum-selling recording star and Grammy Award winner Kenny Loggins; multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw; award-winning country vocalist Cassadee Pope; actress and singer Amber Riley, who is set to star in Dreamgirls on London’s West End; classical crossover star Jackie Evancho; two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster; and the cast of the Broadway musical On Your Feet!

The artists will be backed by the the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of pops conductor Jack Everly. Alisan Porter, the Season 10 winner of TV’s The Voice, will open the show with a performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

The concert will also feature segments in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the USO and the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service. Also participating in the event will be the Choral Arts Society of Washington, Patrick Lundy & The Ministers of Music, the U.S. Army Ceremonial Band, the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets, Members of the Armed Forces carrying the State and Territorial Flags and the Armed Forces Color Guard provided by the Military District of Washington, D.C.
