Christy Baron, who starred on Broadway in Les Misérables, and Marie Christine's Darius de Haas will offer concerts at Joe's Pub in December. Baron will take to the intimate stage at 9:30 PM on Saturday, Dec. 14. Her evening will include songs by Stephen Sondheim, Burt Bacharach, Carole King and Stevie Wonder. De Haas will offer an evening of jazz at 7:30 PM on Monday, Dec. 16. The singer-actor will perform songs from his PS Classics recording, "Daydream: Variations on Strayhorn." He will be backed by a jazz ensemble under the direction of pianist Deidre Rodman.

Christy Baron portrayed Fantine in the Broadway production of Les Misérables and spent the summer starring as Susan in the Kennedy Center's production of Stephen Sondheim's Company. Her latest recording, "Take This Journey," is available from Chesky Records. Darius de Haas has appeared on Broadway in Marie Christine, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Carousel, Rent and The Gershwins' Fascinating Rhythm. He created the title role in Running Man for which he received an Obie Award, and his other theatrical credits include The Bacchae, Saturn Returns, Children of Eden, Once On This Island and I Was Looking at the Ceiling and Then I Saw the Sky. Joe's Pub is located within the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street, between East 4th Street and Astor Place.
