News Cinderella's Fran Drescher Offers Backstage Experience to Support Cancer Schmancer Fran Drescher, currently starring as wicked stepmother Madame in Cinderella on Broadway, is offering an all-expense-paid trip to New York in support of her charity Cancer Schmancer, which provides uninsured, underinsured and disadvantaged women with access to early care pre-screening for the disease.

Drescher herself is a survivor of uterine cancer and her organization Cancer Schmancer follows a three-prong approach dedicated not only to finding a cure for the disease, but to focusing on prevention, early detection and policy change.

"I got famous, then I got cancer, and now I live to talk about it," Drescher says.

Drescher recently extended her run in Cinderella through June 29.
