Alice Dodd and Jillian Armenante's In Flagrante Gothicto will have its world premiere at the McCadden Theatre in Hollywood Aug. 25, directed by Armenante. Produced for Circle X Theatre Co. by the same creative team that was responsible for the company's biggest hit, Great Men of Science, Nos. 21 & 22, the play has scenic design by Gary Smoot, costumes by M.E. Dunn and lighting by Dan Weingarten.

Featured in the cast are Dodd, Jim Anzide, Cindy Basco, Anastasia Basil, Tom Beyer, Emma Jane Mezher, Shannon O'Hurley, William Salyers and John Sylvain.

Dodd and Armenante focus on a woman alone in an uncaring world and on a man scarred by a past he can't forget. Nothing can quench the flames of their love, but the playwrights do their damndest to try and do it anyway in this "amalgamated Gothic epic."
