The one-performance-only event — headed by original director David Warren — will take place Dec. 3 at 7 PM at the Laura Pels Theatre.
The complete original cast includes Ayvazian (A Naked Girl on the Appian Way), Clarkson (Three Days of Rain, "Pieces of April"), Frechette (The Odd Couple, "Thirtysomething"), Kerwin (August: Osage County, "Big Love") and Rapp (Rent, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown).
Raised in Captivity follows the "story of two estranged siblings who reunite at their mother's funeral," according to an announcement. The work premiered at The Vineyard in 1995 in a sold-out run.
The special reunion reading joins the previously-announced anniversary event, Goblin Market, starring original cast members Terri Klausner and Ann Morrison, Nov. 11 and 12 at the Vineyard.
The Off-Broadway company last presented a developmental run of Silver's The Agony and the Agony in December 2006. The scribe's other works include The Food Chain, Pterodactyls, The Atruists, The Eros Trilogy, Beautiful Child, Fit To Be Tied, The Maiden's Prayer, and the book for the Broadway revival of The Boys From Syracuse.
