Elder, who starred in Broadway's Bonnie & Clyde, and Hudock, who appeared in the film "Private Romeo," play estranged brothers Malky and Doug in the work, which is directed by Ross Evans (Venus in Fur; Mary Mill Directing Fellowship from Manhattan Theatre Club).

Elder and Hudock previously appeared in 2013 industry readings of the play at the Creative Center at Manhattan Theatre Club. The play was named a semi-finalist at the Eugene O'Neill National Playwrights Conference and at the Premiere Stages Festival.

Room at the End of the Hall, according to press notes, "transports audiences to the late night shore of a weathered lake home on Cape Cod where estranged brothers Doug and Malky have returned for the first time in years to bury the ashes of their recently deceased caretaker. But tonight, a simple act of closure unearths the haunting remains of a troubled past and an unsettling force that must be reckoned with before daybreak."

The creative team includes Kaitlin Paul, Chris Vongsawat, Gabriella Acquaviva, Stephanie Cowan, scenic designer Edward T. Morris, lighting designer Zach Murphy and stage manager Katie Chew.

Playwright Natale is a Newington-Cropsey Fellowship recipient. His other works include an adaptation of Great Expectations and Smoke Signals

The Fourth Street Theatre is located at 83 East 4th Street. Industry folk with inquiries may email [email protected].
