Directed, hosted and produced by John Znidarsic, the free evening spotlights the songs of up-and-coming composer/lyricist, Sam Salmond. Show time is 6 PM.

Performers include Claybourne Elder, Gideon Glick, Anne L. Nathan, Jose Llana, Grace McLean, F. Michael Hayne, Emily Walton, Jeremy Morse, Matthew John Martin, Jason "Sweet Tooth" Williams and Catherine Jones.

Sam Salmond is an alum of NYU's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. He wrote book and lyrics for Mormons, Mothers, and Monsters (Boston Globe Critic's Pick) with music by Will Aronson. He also penned the book and lyrics to Missing Parents, with music by Yoonmi Lee, which had a limited run at NYU in August 2012. He's done writer's residencies at Goodspeed, CAP21 and the Berkshire Playwright's Lab.

The  evening features musical direction by Matt Webb, arrangements by Salomon Lerner and direction by Sam Pinkleton.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Bruno Walter Auditorium is located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street.
