News CNN Profiles Brooklyn's Espinosa May 25 Eden Espinosa, who stars in the title role of the new musical Brooklyn, will be part of the May 25 broadcast of CNN's "NewsNight with Aaron Brown."

Espinosa will be featured in the show's "On the Rise" segment, which profiles up-and-comers in their chosen fields. "NewsNight with Aaron Brown" airs on CNN 10-11 PM ET; check local listings.

Eden Espinosa made her Broadway debut covering the roles of Elphaba and Nessarose in Stephen Schwartz's Wicked. She currently plays the role of Brooklyn — a part she created at the Denver Civic Theatre — in the musical of the same name at the Schoenfeld Theatre. The actress began singing at the age of three, performing at the age of five and recording at the age of 10.
