News Color Him Barbra: Brinberg Brings Streisand Tribute to U.S. and London Within the next few months award-winning Streisand impersonator Steven Brinberg will bring his acclaimed one-person show Simply Barbra to venues in the United States and London.

Brinberg will return to the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT, Jan. 11-13. A highlight of his program will be the circus medley from “Color Me Barbra,” the early Streisand television special that was recently released on DVD. Simply Barbra will then stop in Easton, MD, for a one-night gig on Feb. 3.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Funny Girl’s London opening, Brinberg will head to the U.K. to play the Delfont Room at the Prince of Wales Theatre on Feb. 15.

Texans will be able to enjoy Brinberg’s Streisand antics March 30 and 31 at the Austin Cabaret Theatre, and the singer-actor will return home to New York for a special show at Birdland on April 17.

All of the performances will feature at least one special guest.

Steven Brinberg has performed his Streisand impersonation on stages in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Houston and the U.K. He recently completed a sold-out tour of the U.K. and the West End, following record-breaking runs at London's Playhouse and Jermyn Street theatres. Brinberg is the winner of the MAC Award and the Bistro Award for his Simply Barbra performances. He also recently appeared in the workshops of Ken Page’s musical Nightlife.
