News Color Purple's Kendall to Star in Picture Incomplete at the Triad Trent Armand Kendall, who is currently playing the Preacher in the national tour of The Color Purple, will go it solo at the Triad Nov. 19.

Kendall's one-man musical is titled Picture Incomplete and features a score by Michael Polese and a book by Kendall. The production, according to press notes, merges "the storytelling styles of Whoopi Goldberg, Dennis Miller, Bill Cosby, Spalding Gray and Bette Midler [and concerns] the courage it takes to look at a situation honestly, call it for what it is, and clean it up!"

Trent Armand Kendall played the Steward in the Broadway revival of Into the Woods. He was also seen in the Actors Fund benefit concerts of Chess, Hair and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Kendall is currently starring in the national tour of The Color Purple.
