Classic Arts News Colorado Symphony Violinist Sebastian Wojtyszyn Killed in Car Accident Sebastian Wojtyszyn, a longtime violinist in the Denver and Colorado Symphonies, was killed in a car accident on October 12, the Rocky Mountain News of Denver reports. He was 61.
The Ukranian-born Wojtyszyn studied in Poland before moving to the United States in 1971. In 1973, he was hired by the Denver Symphony, which later became the Colorado Symphony.

Wojtyszyn also built violins, cellos, and violas, a craft he learned from his father.

"He lived for playing in the symphony," fellow CSO musician David Waldman told the News. "He loved coming to work."
