After successful openings in London and New York, the Sam Mendes- directed production of Kander and Ebb's Cabaret will kick off its tour in Los Angeles before continuing on through Boston, Chicago, Washington, DC and other cities. "Lois & Clark"'s Teri Hatcher stars as Fraulein Sally Bowles with Norbert Leo Butz (Broadway's Rent) as the Emcee.

Tickets for the benefit are $125 and include cabaret style seating, a pre reception and gift bag. Curtain is at 8 PM.

AIDS Project Los Angeles began as a phone hotline in 1982, when AIDS was just beginning to grip the U.S. In 1983, there were 100 APLA clients; in 1999, there are 7,400 men, women and children in Los Angles being directly served by APLA. Services include a food bank, dental clinic, housing assistance, transportation, mental health counseling, case management, home health care and Adult and Child Buddy support. AIDS Project Los Angeles also stresses preventive and treatment education and advocacy for AIDS-related legislation.
