News Complete Cast Announced for L.A. Biloxi Blues Starring Radnor and Bateman The cast is now complete for the Los Angeles Theatre Works run of Neil Simon's Biloxi Blues, starring Josh Radnor and Justine Bateman.

Concluding the season for the company's "The Play's The Thing" radio theatre series, performances will run July 11-15 at the Skirball Cultural Center. Shows are performed live and recorded for future broadcast. Nataki Garrett directs.

Radnor (as Eugene Morris Jerome) and Bateman (Rowena) will be joined in the cast by Steve Rankin (Dracula the Musical, Henry IV) as Sergeant Toomey, John Cabrera ("Gilmore Girls") as Arnold Epstein, Joshua Biton ("Stop Loss") as Joseph Wykowskil, Matthew Patrick Davis (LATW's The Great Tennessee Monkey Trial) as Don Carney, Russell Soder (LATW's The Man Who Had All the Luck) as Roy Selridge, Rob Benedict ("Threshold") as James Hennesey and Darby Stanchfield ("Jericho") as Daisy Hannigan.

The follow-up to Brighton Beach Memoirs — and second in Simon's semi autobiographical trilogy that centers on Eugene Morris Jerome — Biloxi Blues finds the protagonist in basic training for the army. Set in 1943 in the Mississippi town, Eugene (Radnor) is now enlisted at the mercy of his sadistic drill sergeant and fellow recruits while also experiencing sex and love for the first time.

Radnor — who plays the lead male on CBS' comedy "How I Met Your Mother" — made his Broadway debut in The Graduate. He has also appeared onstage in the premiere of The Paris Letter in Los Angeles and Off-Broadway in Eight Days (Backwards).

Bateman — who recently appeared on ABC"s "Men in Trees" — is remembered for her work in the TV series "Family Ties." The actress has also appeared in the films "Satisfaction," "The Night We Never Met," "The TV Set" and TV's "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman," "Men Behaving Badly" and "Out of Order." LATW's nationally syndicated radio show "The Play's The Thing" series can be heard in cities across the country, including Boston, Seattle, Albuquerque as well as on XM Satellite radio. The two-hour radio broadcasts include special backstage features and interviews with actors, playwrights and directors. The L.A. Theatre Works Audio Theatre Collection is available in book stores, libraries, through their catalog or digitally on audible.com, the L.A. Theatre Works website and iTunes.
