Composer Doug Katsaros will be directing his own Off-Broadway show, Abie's Island Rose at Off-Broadway's Jewish Repertory Theatre in May. Casting details remain sketchy, but Katsaros told Playbill On-Line that Abie's Island Rose will star Heather MacRae, among others.
Katsaros is the music director of Broadway's Footloose, and can be seen directing that rock orchestra nightly on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.
