News Composers Paul Williams and Rupert Holmes Will Headline Rockers On Broadway – Behind the Music in NYC Academy Award-winning composer Paul Williams ("A Star Is Born") and Tony Award-winning composer Rupert Holmes (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) will headline Rockers On Broadway – Behind the Music, the latest edition of Broadway's rock 'n' roll concert series, Oct. 15 at the newly redesigned Cutting Room in NYC.

The 8 PM concert will feature songs written by pop and rock 'n' roll artists such as Elton John (The Lion King), Pete Townshend (The Who's Tommy), Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and Billy Joel (Movin' Out). Headliners Williams and Holmes will also be the evening's lifetime achievement honorees. Behind the Music, honoring crossover songwriters who have written chart-topping hits as well as musicals for theatre, film and television, will also include a tribute to the late Marvin Hamlisch (A Chorus Line).

Proceeds from the evening will benefit The ASCAP Foundation's Children Will Listen Program, The Broadway Dreams Foundation and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Rockers is presented by The Path Fund Inc.
