News Concept Recording of Frank Wildhorn's Artus Excalibur Hits No. 1 on German iTunes and Amazon Charts The concept recording of Artus Excalibur — the Frank Wildhorn musical that opened March 15 in St. Gallen, Switzerland — was released April 3 and entered the No. 1 slot on Amazon and iTunes in Germany.

The musical features a book by Ivan Menchell, lyrics by Robin Lerner and German translation by Nina Schneider.

Directed by Francesca Zambello, the German production stars Patrick Stanke as Artus, Mark Seibert as Lancelot, Thomas Borchert as Merlin, Sabrina Weckerlin as Morgana and Annemieke van Dam as Guenevire.

Orchestrations and arrangements are by music supervisor Koen Schoots, who also conducts alongside Stéphane Fromageot.

Other members of the creative team include set designer Peter J. Davison, costume designer Sue Willmington, lighting designer Mark McCullough, projection designer Katy Tucker, sound designers Stephan Linde and Christian Scholl, choreographer Eric Sean Fogel, fight choreographer Rick Sordelet, dance captain Ariane Swoboda, fight captains Tristan Adams and Richard Leggett, assistant musical director Jeff Frohner, dramaturg Serge Honegger and Michael Vogel (choir rehearsal).
