News Connington's Zombie Plays Theatre Row Engagement Beginning Feb. 18 Zombie, a new play penned by and starring Bill Connington, begins performances at Theatre Row Feb. 18.

Previously seen at the New York International Fringe Festival, the production — adapted from the novella by Joyce Carol Oates — will play a limited engagement through March 29. Thomas Caruso directs; opening night is Feb. 21.

"Stand back, Jeffrey Dahmer," read Zombie press notes. "A mild-mannered 'everyman' sheds his skin, revealing the serial killer within. He follows his romantic delusions to horrific extremes, preying on young men, hoping to create a zombie who will be his forever. Zombie asks what is the nature of a 'monster' — and what potential monsters may be lurking within ourselves?"

Zombie features an original score composed by Deirdre Broderick with designs by Joel E. Silver (lighting design) and Josh Zangen (scenic design). Naomi Anhorn is the stage manager.

The production is "not appropriate for those under the age of 17 because of adult content."

Show times are Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM. Theatre Row is located at 410 West 42nd Street, between Ninth and Tenth Avenues. For tickets, priced $21.25, call (212) 279-4200 or visit www.ticketcentral.com.
