Featuring Wally Harper as musical director, the DVD also boasts several bonus features: Cook's Master Class at the Kennedy Center (Aug. 14, 2001), an interview with the legendary singer, interactive menus, instant chapter access to songs and Cook's complete discography on DRG Records. The concert — filmed live at the Pepsico Theatre at SUNY Purchase — is digitally mastered with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, and the recording has a suggested retail price of $29.98 (DVD) or $19.98 (VHS). Cheered for her beautiful, crystal-clear soprano voice, Cook has starred on Broadway in Flahooley, Candide, The Gay Life, The Music Man (Tony Award) and She Loves Me. She received a 2002 Tony nomination for Best Special Theatrical Event for her Sondheim tribute, which she premiered at Carnegie Hall prior to extended engagements at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
