News "Cosby" Star Cast in Off-Broadway's Eve-Olution Sabrina Le Beauf, best known for her role as eldest daughter Sondra on "The Cosby Show," will co-star in the new Off-Broadway play Eve-Olution.

Le Beauf will join "Law & Order" star Carolyn McCormick for the Hilary Illick-Jennifer Krier play, which begins performances at the Cherry Lane Theatre Oct. 5 prior to its official Oct. 20 opening. Carolyn Cantor directs; the remainder of the production team includes David Korins (set design), Jenny Mannis (costume design), Matt Richards (lighting design) and Eric Shim (sound design).

Eve-Olution, according to production notes, is an autobiographical play that concerns "Alison and Liza [who] are navigating the channels of motherhood as they take a revealing and sometimes comedic look at the balancing act of promise and compromise. Both women test the vision of who they think they are, who they wish to be and ultimately, who they become as individuals, as mothers, as professionals and as members of their families."

In addition to "The Cosby Show" Sabrina Le Beauf has been seen in regional productions of Much Ado About Nothing, All's Well That Ends Well, King Lear, As You Like It, Waiting for Tadashi, Oo-Bla-Dee, A Streetcar Named Desire, Uncle Vanya and The Imaginary Invalid. She is currently the voice of Norma Blindlebeep on Nickelodeon's "Fatherhood."

Carolyn McCormick has appeared on Broadway in Private Lives and The Dinner Party, and her Off-Broadway credits include Dinner with Friends, Oedipus, Ancestral Voices, The Donahue Sisters, Laureen's Whereabouts and In Perpetuity. Her many screen credits include "Law & Order," "Spenser: For Hire," "The Practice," "Homicide," "Judging Amy," "Star Trek," "Emmett's Mark," "A Simple Twist of Fate," "Enemy Mine" and "Rain Without Thunder."

Eve-Olution will play Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8 PM with matinees on Saturdays and Sundays at 3 PM and Wednesdays at 2 PM. Tickets, priced at $55, are available at the Cherry Lane box office (38 Commerce Street) or through www.telecharge.com.
