At the Tony Awards, after the statues are given to the winners, they are taken to the media room, where they speak to journalists about their prizes. Playbill was able to have some one-on-one time with some of the 2023 Tony winners. We spoke with Brigitte Reiffenstuel after winning the prize for Best Costume Design of a Play for Leopoldstadt.
Watch the video above to see Reiffenstuel react to winning, how she takes actors' input into account when designing costumes, and her plans for celebrating.
Check Playbill throughout the evening for the latest in Tony Awards coverage, including photos from the red carpet, a continually updated list of winners, analysis from Playbill's theatre experts, and more.
