News Craig Wright's The Unseen Opens Off-Broadway March 8 The Unseen, Craig Wright's dark drama starring Thomas Ward, Steven Pounders and Stan Denman, officially opens Off-Broadway March 8.

The prison drama began performances at the Cherry Lane Theatre March 5 and will play a limited run through March 28 under the direction of Lisa Denman.

Ward, Pounders and Denman star in the work about "two prisoners trying to crack the code of their cryptic imprisonment by a brutal, totalitarian regime," according to press notes. "Only familiar to each other by their voices, the two men keep each other mentally and emotionally going through the cell walls as they share stories of their interrogations and torture, putting the pieces together about who their captors are and what it would take to get out. The puzzle is further complicated with the introduction of a new prisoner placed near them who only poses more questions than answers."

Designing The Unseen are Sarah Brown (set design), Travis Watson (lighting design), Dustin Chaffin (sound design) and Carl Booker (costume design).

Wright's plays include Better Late, Lady, Tragic Events, Mistakes Were Made, The Pavilion, Main Street, Orange Flower Water, Recent Tragic Events, Molly's Delicious and Melissa Arctic. His writing for television includes "Dirty Sexy Money," "Lost," "Six Feet Under" and "Brothers and Sisters."

Tickets to The Unseen, priced $45, are available by phoning (212) 239-6200 or by visiting Telecharge. The Cherry Lane Theatre is located at 38 Commerce Street in Manhattan.
