News Cry-Baby's Jibson Will Make a Splash Jan. 28 Carly Jibson, who will be seen in the new Broadway musical Cry-Baby, will go it solo at Splash Bar Jan. 28.

As part of Scott Nevins' Curtain Call series at the popular dance club, Jibson will perform a full set of theatre tunes following the weekly "Musical Mondays" video presentations of Broadway performances. Jibson's concert is scheduled for 11:30 PM. Carly Jibson made her Broadway debut in Hairspray as Tracy Turnblad, a role she played on the road in the musical's first national touring company for nearly a year. She was also seen in the world premiere of Crash Nation. Jibson will return to Broadway this season in the new musical Cry-Baby, which is scheduled to begin previews March 15 at the Marquis Theatre; Jibson will play the role of Pepper, which she created in the musical's world-premiere run at the La Jolla Playhouse.

Splash Bar is located in Manhattan at 50 W. 17th Street. Admission is free until 10 PM; there is a $5 charge after that time. Attendees must be 21 or older with identification.
