Culver City Public Theatre's second annual summer season of free, outdoor, classical theatre continues with the Aug. 19-Sept. 3 run of Moliere's The Misanthrope, translated by Richard Wilbur and directed by CCPT's artistic director, Stephen Moore. All performances are held in Dr. Paul Carlson Memorial Park on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 PM. People are invited to bring picnic baskets, lawn chairs and blankets to the production, which is aimed at adult and young audiences alike.Previous shows this summer have included Plautus' The Braggart Soldier, translated by Erich Segal and directed by Alexander Wells; and The Fatal Friendship, a Restoration tragedy by Catherine Trotter, directed by Laura Neufeld.
