Featuring music and lyrics by award-winning composer Gaby Alter and book and additional lyrics by Tommy Newman, the pop-rock song cycle will be presented at Joe's Pub Nov. 8 at 10 PM.

The cast features Farah Alvin, Alex Brightman, Nick Cartell, Blake Daniel, Ryan Duncan, Piper Goodeve, Molly Hager, Curtis Holbrook, Lauren Marcus, Lindsay Mendez, Patti Murin, Andrew Samonksy, Phoebe Strole, Jared Weiss, Hannah Whitney, Jason "SweetTooth" Williams and Betsy Wolfe. Jeremy Dobrish directs.

29, according to the creators, is a "high-octane pop-rock song cycle in which characters face defining moments of adulthood: from finding jobs and roommates, to an unexpected pregnancy, a parent's illness and falling in and out of love. As they head out of their twenties, the characters look back at a decade of change and loss, and reach to connect with each other and their real selves."

The band comprises Alter on piano with Alec Berlin (guitar), Danny Stone (bass), Allison Seidner (cello) and Jeremy Yaddaw (drums).

The concert is produced by jokr productions (Joey Oliva and Katie Riegel).

Tickets for the concert are $20 and are available online at joespub.com.
