Composer Cy Coleman will be the guest of honor May 22 when the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC hosts a salute to Broadway.Coleman, who wrote music for The Will Rogers Follies, Sweet Charity, City of Angels, Barnum, and the forthcoming The Life will perform his own songs at the piano, backed by the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra on the second half of the evening's bill.
The first half will consist of Judy Kaye, Lee Roy Reams and Randy Graff performing songs from Gypsy, My Fair Lady and Hello, Dolly!.
