News "Daily Show" Vet Lauren Weedman Sifts Through Wreckage on Theatre Row Thru Oct. 3 Lauren Weedman, the comedienne and playwright who is a featured correspondent on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart," is currently performing her solo show Wreckage at Theatre Row's Studio Theatre, as part of the "I Have a Better Idea" series of one-woman performances.

The show, which began Sept. 29 and will continue unti Oct. 3, follows Weedman's previous Homecoming, which played Off-Broadway's Westside Theatre in late 2001; and Rash, seen at The Empty Space Theatre in Seattle in late 2002. A popular Seattle performer, Weedman appeared at the Empty Space Theatre in The Salvation of Iggy Scrooge, Pants on Fire, Wuthering! Heights! The! Musical!, Texarkana Waltz and Amsterdam. She is known for her work in the final season of Almost Live TV and her solo pieces, If Ornaments Had Lips, Yea, Though I Walk; Huu and the aforementioned Homecoming.

Wreckage was recently been selected for The NOW Theatre Festival at the REDKAT Theatre at The Disney Music Hall.
