Daisy Pulls It Off, Denise Deegan's hilarious spoof of 1920's girls' stories, is back on Shaftesbury Avenue this week at the Lyric Theatre.
The play has a large cast of relative unknowns, reflecting the original, early 1980's production, which was an ensemble piece.
Then, as now, the producer is Andrew Lloyd Webber, making a rare foray into non-musical theatre, though this time co-producing with David Ian of Clear Channel. The original director, David Gilmore, is also on board.
