A spokesperson for the McCarter confirmed to Playbill.com that Daly and Murray will be featured in the cast of the new work, which will be directed by McCarter's artistic director Emily Mann. Additional casting for the Jan. 11-Feb. 17, 2008, run will be announced at a later date.

Me, Myself and I, according to press notes, is described as such: "When a pair of identical twin brothers are both named Otto, how's a mother supposed to keep them straight? Master playwright Edward Albee is in top form with this dark, funny and moving play that takes sibling rivalry to existential heights."

Brian Murray received Tony nominations for his performances in The Crucible, The Little Foxes and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. His other Broadway credits include The Rivals, Uncle Vanya, Twelfth Night, Racing Demon, White Liars & Black Comedy, The Show Off, A Small Family Business, The Circle, Blithe Spirit, Arsenic and Old Lace, Hay Fever, Noises Off, Da, The Waltz of the Toreadors, Sleuth and All in Good Time.

Best known for her Emmy-winning work on "Cagney and Lacey," Tyne Daly won a Tony Award for her performance as Rose in the 1989 Gypsy revival. She was also Tony-nominated for her work in Rabbit Hole, and her other Broadway credits include That Summer—That Fall and The Seagull.

Edward Albee won Best Play Tony Awards for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and The Goat or Who Is Sylvia?. He was also Tony nominated for The Ballad of the Sad Café, Tiny Alice, A Delicate Balance and Seascape. Albee is also the recipient of three Pulitzer Prizes, the Gold Medal in Drama from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters, the Kennedy Center Honors and the National Medal of Arts. Four major Edward Albee productions will be seen during the 2007-08 season, during which the playwright will turn 80 (on March 12, 2008). The season has been dubbed "The Albee Season" and will include Peter and Jerry at Second Stage; Me, Myself and I at the McCarter Theatre; The Sandbox and The American Dream at the Cherry Lane Theatre; and Occupant at the Signature Theatre Company.
