News Dan Goggin's Nunset Boulevard Arrives on DVD May 29 Dan Goggin's Nunset Boulevard: The Nunsense Hollywood Bowl Show, which was filmed in Manhattan in July 2011, arrives on DVD May 29 from Kultur Film and Video.

The cast features Bonnie Lee as Rev. Mother, Bambi Jones as Sr. Mary Hubert, Deborah Del Mastro as Sr. Robert Anne, Jeanne Tinkler as Sr. Mary Paul (Amnesia), Stephanie Wahl as Sr. Mary Leo, and Ron Rogell as Earl-Dean Snedeker (The Bowling Alley pinsetter).

Nunset Boulevard, press notes state, "follows the latest exploits of The Little Sisters of Hoboken, who have been invited to perform at the Hollywood Bowl. They are thrilled at the prospect until they arrive and realize that they are booked into the Hollywood Bowl-A-Rama - a bowling alley with a cabaret lounge - and not the famed 'Bowl' they were planning on. Things do not go as planned, as The Sisters must contend with announcements from the bowling alley public address system as well as the activity on the lanes. However, The Sisters catch wind of the fact that the famed movie producer, James Todd, is across the street auditioning for roles in his new movie musical, 'Nunset Boulevard: A Song from the Hart,' about the life of Dolores Hart, the famous movie star who became a nun. The Sisters, thinking they are naturals for parts, race off to audition during their show’s intermission. Will Hoboken lose The Sisters to the glitz and glamour of Tinseltown?"

Nunsense, the creation of Catholic-school-educated author/composer Dan Goggin, premiered in New York City at the Cherry Lane Theater in 1986. Following its success, Goggin went on to add to his franchise Nunsense 2: The Second Coming, Sister Amnesia's Country Western Nunsense Jamboree, Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical, Meshuggah Nuns, Nunsensations: The Nunsense Vegas Revue, Nunsense A-Men and Nunset Boulevard.

Fifty percent of the proceeds from DVD sales will be donated to The Benedictine Abbey of Regina Laudis to support Mother Dolores Hart and the Benedictines.

The DVD, which is priced $19.99, is available by visiting or by calling (800) 573-3782.
