The two Oct. 28 performances at the Orpheum Theatre will feature O'Hurley. Singer Huey Lewis continues, as previously announced, in the role of Billy Flynn for the rest of the San Francisco run (Oct. 24-Nov. 5) as part of the 2006-2007 Best of Broadway season.
Best known as J. Peterman on "Seinfeld," O'Hurley now hosts "Family Feud" and ABC's "TV's Funniest Bloopers." The stage vet of the national tours of Pirates of Penzance, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Brigadoon also showed off his dance moves on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." Among his voicework, he has lent his tones to King Neptune on "Sponge Bob Squarepants" and Blake the White Tiger on NBC's "Father of the Pride." Other credits include As Is, Mass Appeal, Fifth of July and Same Time, Next Year.
Chicago won the Tony for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse.
