Tony Award nominee Daniel Jenkins and Drama Desk nominee Melissa van der Schyff team up for a concert event titled Borrowed Cast: Busted! The Reunion Tour, which plays (le) Poisson Rouge January 21-22.

The 8 PM concerts, which are “performed completely in alter ego, blending comedy and documentary film within a live rock and blues concert setting,” are directed by Gina Rattan. Jesse Weiner serves as music director and arranger.

Weiner, also performing in character, leads a full band with himself and Jenkins as multi-instrumentalists—using banjo, violin, electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin, harmonica, and keyboards. The set also features Sam Sherwood on bass and Drew Anderson on drums.

The event is co-created by Jenkins (Oslo, Kid Victory, Big River, Mary Poppins), van der Schyff (Big River, Bonnie & Clyde), Weiner, and Rattan (Matilda, Cinderella).

(le) Poisson Rouge is located at 158 Bleecker Street. For more information and tickets, visit LPR.com.
