Daniels – who has appeared in Disney's Aida on Broadway as well as Nine, Lestat, The Look of Love and the 2006 return of Les Miserables – will portray Belle with Phantom of the Opera veteran Little as the Beast.
The Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice musical will play San Jose through May 25. Beauty and the Beast is directed by Glenn Casale.
Completing the cast of Beauty and the Beast are Edward Staudenmayer (Gaston), Ron Wisniski (Lumiere), Jeanne Lehman (Mrs. Potts), Jeff Skowron (Lefou), Michael Ray Wisely (Cogsworth), Stephen Pawley (Maurice), Marsha Mercant (Madame de la Grand Bouche), Lindsey Bracco (Babette) and Will Haubl and Tony Sinclair, who will alternate in the role of Chip.
The ensemble comprises Kikau Alvaro, Isaac Benelli, Joven Calloway, Renee DeWeese, Joshua Ekblom, Naomi Hubert, James Monroe Iglehart, Courtney Iventosch, Ashley Little, Lauren Masiello, Darya Maximovich, Nick Nakashima, Keith Parks, Rizza Quinio, Melissa Reinard, Peyton Royal, Michael Susko and Kari Yancy.
