The Life + Death of Kenyon Phillips, according to press notes, is a 90-minute rock opera that "uses an interactive rock-cabaret-variety show format to tell the story of this colorful New Yorker's life and eventual death. Kenyon says his inspiration for the project came from a desire 'to take the traditional one-man show idea of "here's my life story," and throw a grenade in it.'"

Joe’s Pub is located at 425 Lafayette St. Tickets are $20 each and available online at www.joespub.com, by visiting the Joe’s Pub box office or by calling (212) 967-7555.
