Darius de Haas, seen this past fall as one of Audra McDonald's brothers in Michael John LaChiusa's Marie Christine, will perform in a solo concert on May 12, at 7:30 PM, at Aaron Davis Hall in Manhattan. The concert, part of the venue's "New Faces, New Voices, New Visions" festival, is titled "Transitions."
de Haas will sing selections from theatre composers Adam Guettel and Ricky Ian Gordon, as well as pop artists Sting and Stevie Wonder, and composer Mike Harvey.
Performing the same evening will be Diedre Murray, the composer of Running Man, the Off-Off-Broadway musical which established de Haas a couple seasons back.
Tickets are $18. Aaron Davis Hall is located at 135th and Convent Ave.
