News Dark Comedy Manuscript Begins at Studio Theatre April 5 Manuscript, which played a summer run at the Daryl Roth Theatre in 2005, returns for a limited engagement at the Studio Theatre on Theatre Row beginning April 5.

Paul Grellong's dark comedy, with direction by Alex Lippard, runs through April 20. The cast features Greg Cayea, Christine Donlon and Duane Langley, with scenic design by Michael V. Moore, costume design by Erin Elizabeth Murphy and lighting design by Graham Kindred.

Manuscript, according to press notes, "centers on three ambitious college freshmen whose discovery of an unpublished manuscript drives them into a series of hilarious and startlingly cruel consequences. Little is what it seems, and no one can be trusted as they lose control on their manipulative quest for fame and revenge."

Paul Grellong is a writer for NBC's "Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit." His other plays include Warfare, Power of Sail and The New Fire; he also penned the book and score for the musical Hot Star, Nebraska.

The playing schedule will be Tuesday through Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM and 8 PM, and Sunday at 3 PM and 7 PM.
