News Datz Duo Play the Ars Nova Sept. 13; Craig, Shannon, Carey Guest Lisa Datz — who has been seen on Broadway in Titanic and The Full Monty — will be joined by her brother, musician-songwriter-producer-actor and Blue Man Group alum Mike Datz, Sept. 13 at the Ars Nova.

The Datz duo will offer a journey in music at the Manhattan venue at 7:30 PM. The two artists will be backed by the Datz band, which features Joe Abba on drums, Brad Russell on bass and Art Hirahara on keyboards. Audiences can expect to hear original tunes penned by Mike Datz as well as covers of rock and pop songs; the Datz siblings will also share anecdotes about "coming of age and finding their way as artists in the world of entertainment."

Special guests for the one-night-only concert, titled Datz Life, include Spelling Bee's Deborah S. Craig, "Ugly Betty" star Erika Shannon and Strike Up the Band's Terrence Carey.

Stewart M. Schulman directs the evening with choreography by Erika Shannon.

Lisa Datz's stage credits include Titanic, The Full Monty, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, In the Wings, Weird Romance, Saturday Night and Up Against It. On screen she has been seen in "The Perfect Holiday," "Ghost Town," "Hope & Faith," "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Trial By Jury," "The West Wing," "Guiding Light," "As The World Turns, "All My Children," "One Life to Live," "Blues Clues," "The Perfect Holiday," "Ghosttown" and "Spectropia."
