The talkback is part of a series of talkbacks that the producers of the Broadway production of Alfred Uhry's Pulitzer Prize-winning play is running in honor of Black History Month. The talkbacks happens after every Wednesday evening performance in February.
Driving Miss Daisy dramatizes the relationship between a white Southern Jewish woman and her black chauffeur as race relations shift in mid-century America. The current revival, starring James Earl Jones, Vanessa Redgrave and Boyd Gaines, is playing at the Golden Theatre.
The Feb. 16 talkback, again moderated by Bernstein, will feature former U.S. Congressman Harold Ford, Jr. and NYU professor Jennifer Morgan.
