News David Drake Performs The Secret History of Drag at Dixon Place, Dec. 3, 10, 17 David Drake, best known for his hit one-man show The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me, will present his latest, The Secret History of Drag: A Visit with Agrippina Van Hanssen-Cortez at Dixon Place on Dec. 3, 10 and 17. Shows are at 9 PM at The Marquee (356 Bowery).

The piece is described as exploring “the mysteries of drag through the eyes of a 2000-year-old time traveler.” It is presented as part of Dixon Place’s “Veteran Series.” Future entries feature David Cale, John Kelly, John Fleck and Lois Weaver. Drake most recently staged another monologue, Son of Drakula, at Dance Theatre Workshop.
