News David Hyde Pierce and Brian Hargrove Will Be Part of Temperamentals' "TalkOut Monday" Series Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce and television writer-producer Brian Hargrove will appear as guests in the "TalkOut Monday" series, discussions that follow performances of Jon Marans' The Temperamentals at New World Stages.

Hyde Pierce and Hargrove will appear after the play's April 5 performance.

Directed by Jonathan Silverstein, The Temperamentals stars Thomas Jay Ryan (In the Next Room) as Harry Hay and Michael Urie (ABC-TV's "Ugly Betty") as Rudy Gernreich. Hay and Gernreich were a real-life couple who founded the Mattachine Society, the first gay rights organization in America, in the 1950s. The cast also features Arnie Burton, Matthew Schneck and Sam Breslin Wright.

Hyde Pierce won a Tony for his work in Curtains and four Emmys for his performance as Niles on "Frasier." Additional stage credits include Accent On Youth, Spamalot, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, The Cherry Orchard and It's Only a Play. Film credits include "Down with Love," "A Bug's Life," "Full Frontal," "Nixon" and "Sleepless in Seattle."

Hargrove's television credits include "Titus," "Wanda at Large," and "Nora," which he co-created, executive-produced, and created, respectively. He has also written for the series "Dave's World," "Caroline in the City," "Holding the Baby" and "Maggie."
