Produced by Kim Poster for Stanhope Productions and Nica Burns, it will be directed by Adrian Noble, former artistic director of the Royal Shakespeare Company (1990-2003).
Suchet, who is best known for his role as the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot in Agatha Christie's "Poirot," has most recently appeared in the theatre in Poster's productions of Long Day's Journey into Night and All My Sons. Other West End stage credits include Complicit (Old Vic), Once in a Lifetime (National Theatre), The Last Confession (Theatre Royal Haymarket), Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (which transferred from the Almeida to the West End's Aldwych Theatre, and for which he was Olivier-nominated), Oleanna (which transferred from the Royal Court to the Duke of York's) and Amadeus (which played at the Old Vic and transferred to Broadway's Music Box, where he was Tony-nominated).
