Helmed by artistic director Jesse Cline, performances at the Pennsylvania venue are scheduled for Nov. 20, 2013-Jan. 5, 2014. Dann Dunn choreographs.

Lowder will star in the title role; additional casting will be announced at a later time.

Lowder received an Emmy nomination for playing Brady Black on NBC’s "Days of Our Lives" and subsequently spent several years on CBS daytime’s “The Bold and The Beautiful” as Rick Forrester. He was most recently seen as Stacee Jaxx in the Las Vegas company of Rock of Ages.

"I absolutely love Andrew Lloyd Webber’s score to this show,” Lowder said in a statement. “To have the privilege of singing such iconic songs for several weeks during the holidays is a great gift.”

"The biblically based tale of Joseph and his jealous brothers is an energetic tableau of various musical genres mingled with humor, poignancy, and plenty of eye-popping choreography," according to the Media Theatre. "The show inspires with its universal message of forgiveness and following one’s own path to personal achievement." The Media Theatre is producing the Mega-Mix version of the classic musical, which features a dance combination following the finale and a medley of the show’s memorable songs.
