Tickets for the Washington DC tryout of Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical Whistle Down the Wind go on sale at noon Sept. 15 at the National Theatre, 1321 Pennsylvania Ave. In DC. The first 100 people on line at the box office will get a free recording of Lloyd Webber's greatest hits, The Premiere Collection Encore.
Tickets cost $20-$70.
Directed by Harold Prince, the production will have its world premiere Dec. 6, 1996 and run through Feb. 9, 1997 before moving to Broadway.
Tickets also can be ordered by phone by calling (800) 447-7400, but callers will not get the CD.
