Death Defying Acts (Tres Juegos Mortales), the trilogy of comedies by Woody Allen, David Mamet and Elaine May opens July 31 at the Teatro Fernando Soler in Mexico City.

The stars of this production are Marta Aura, Arturo Beristain, Gaston Tousset, Veronica Lange, Florencia Ferrer and Rodrigo Calderon.

The director is Norberto Bogart, who is back in Mexico after completing his theatre studies in New York. The set designers are Rocio Martinez and Elaine Gateno. Lighting designer is Manolo Sanchez Navarro.

Tres Juegos Mortales is produced by Fela Fabregas, the widow of one of Mexico's most celebrated actors, Manolo Fabregas, who also produced the Mexican versions of "My Fair Lady", "Fiddler on the Roof", "Kismet", "Dracula", "Deathtrap", "Promises, Promises", "Man of la Mancha" and many others. The Fabregas family owns nine major theatres in Mexico City.

Tres Juegos Mortales will be playing at the Teatro Fernando Soler on Thurs. at 8:30 pm, Fri. and Sat. at 7 and 9:30 pm, and Sun. at 6:30 and 8 pm. Tickets are available at (5) 546 14 31 and 5 66 43 21. -- By Claudio Carrera
