Lea DeLaria, Suzanne Westenhoefer and casts of Urinetown and Chicago will take part in the 19th Annual Garden Party at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender Community Center in New York City.

The annual party, which kicks off Gay Pride Week, will be held at 6 PM on June 24 at the John Seravalli Playground, located at the corner of Hudson and Gansvoort Streets in the West Village. The festive evening, which will also include several other musicians and vocalists, is the Center's most popular fundraising event of the year and attracts folks from all over the tri-state area.

Lea DeLaria received an Obie and a Theater World Award for her work in the Public Theater's revival of On the Town. She also starred in the Broadway revival of The Rocky Horror Show and the City Center Encores! presentation of Li'l Abner. Her other theatrical credits include Chicago, The Boys From Syracuse, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told and As You Like It. An acclaimed, openly gay stand-up comic, DeLaria is an accomplished jazz singer as well, and her first solo recording, "Play It Cool," is available on Warner Bros. Records.

Suzanne Westenhoefer is also an openly gay comic whose HBO comedy special was nominated for a Cable Ace Award. Her CD, "Nothing in My Closet But My Clothes," won the Gay and Lesbian American Music Award for Best Comedy, and her most recent recording, "I'm Not Cindy Brady," also won the GLAMA for Best Comedy CD.

Comedienne Kate Clinton will serve as hostess for the evening. Tickets are priced at $50; for more information, call the LGBT Community Center — located at 208 W. 13th Street — at (212) 620-7310.
