As previously reported, Kaufman (Bengal Tiger, 33 Variations, Laramie Project) will also direct the production that begins previews May 19 towards a June 9 Off-Broadway opening. The New Group and the Tectonic Theater Project co-present the run, which is scheduled through July 2 at the Acorn Theatre on Theatre Row.

The cast will feature Noah Bean, KC Comeaux, Claybourne Elder, Steven Hauck, Todd Lawson, Christopher McCann, Greg Pierotti and Larisa Polonsky.

One Arm will have set design by Derek McLane, costume design by Clint Ramos, lighting design by David Lander and original music and sound design by Shane Rettig. Fight direction is by David Anzuelo, with Doug Paulson serving as dialect coach.

According to the New Group, One Arm "follows Ollie, a young boxing champ who loses his arm and turns to hustling to survive."
