Classic Arts News Deutsche Grammophon Names Two New Top Executives Deutsche Grammophon has appointed two new executives to top positions.
Michael Lang, general manager of the Hamburg-based label, has been promoted to President, effective immediately.

Matthew Cosgrove, who left Warner Classics International this past spring after 10 years (most recently he was president of the label group), joins DG as Vice President, Artists and Repertoire. He replaces Bogdan Roscic, who recently became head of the Decca Music Group, which is, along with the DG and Philips labels, owned by Universal Music. Chris Roberts, President of Classics & Jazz at Universal Music Group International, announced the appointments on August 18.
