Diahann Carroll starts the second leg of her three month concert tour, Almost Like Being In Love: The Lerner & Loewe Songbook , Dec. 1, when the show comes to Boston, MA's Shubert Theatre for a run through Dec. 6.

The tour began Nov. 5 at the John Harms Center in Englewood, NJ and will finish up in Michigan at the end of January.

Almost Like Being In Love showcases the work of composer/ lyricist team Frederick Loewe and Alan Jay Lerner whose two decade long musical collaboration included Brigadoon, Camelot, Paint Your Wagon, My Fair Lady and Gigi. Some of the songs featured in the concert include "They Call the Maria," "Wouldn't It Be Loverly," "I've Grown Accustomed to His Face," "Heather on the Hill," "On the Street Where You Live," and "Show Me."

Carroll most recently starred as Norma Desmond in both the Canadian premiere and tour of Sunset Boulevard. She won a Tony Award in 1962 for No Strings in a role Richard Rogers had written for her. She has also been active in movies and television, having been nominated for an Academy Award in 1975 for "Claudine" and done roles in "Julia," "Dynasty" and the up-coming "The Sweetest Gift" for Showtime.

Mark S. Hoebee directed and choreographed Almost Like Being In Love with musical direction by Curtis McKonly. Carroll is backed up by four Broadway performers: David Bedella (Smokey Joe's Cafe), Jonathan Dokuchitz (Tommy), Jordan Leeds (Sunset Boulevard) and David A. White (Five Guys Named Moe). The remaining tour dates follow:
