Diana Son is currently swimming with the Fishes, her play at Off-Off-Broa dway's New Georges Theatre, but November will find her giving a "Kiss" to the Public Theatre.

According to Fishes spokesperson Karen Greco (at the Tony Origlio office), Son's Stop/Kiss will be staged at the Joseph Papp Public Theatre, to be directed by Jo Bonney, Eric Bogosian's wife and frequent director (Pounding Nails in the Floor With My Forehead). Previews begin Nov. 6.

Other works by Son include Boy, which was directed by Michael Grief at CA's La Jolla Playhouse.

As for Fishes, the play shows a young girl's deceased mother reincarnated as an exotic tropical fish. In this allegorical tale of a young girl's coming of age, Junebug spends her days fantasizing about being a fish and swimming away, until the day her mother dies and she must take over her duties at the family pet store. Once she returns to Earth as a fish, Junebug's mother tries to teach her daughter the importance of achieving her dreams.

Judy Minor directs a cast featuring William Badgett, Ken Barnett, Amy Povich, Camilia Sanes, and Connie Winston. Fishes, opened June 6 and runs to June 27 at 46 Walker St. New Georges, the production company, is dedicated to staging new works by women. For tickets and information call (212) 560-7387.
