News Director Rob (Little Me) Marshall Goes 'One on One' w/ NY's SDCF Jan. 28 Director Rob Marshall (Little Me, Cabaret ) will appear at an event sponsored by the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation on Jan. 28 at 5 PM in New York City. Marshall's appearance is first in a line up of events designed to develop the art and career of young directors and choreographers. He will be interviewed as part of the foundation's "One on One" series.

Director Rob Marshall (Little Me, Cabaret ) will appear at an event sponsored by the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation on Jan. 28 at 5 PM in New York City. Marshall's appearance is first in a line up of events designed to develop the art and career of young directors and choreographers. He will be interviewed as part of the foundation's "One on One" series.

Marshall will talk about his approach to the creative process, the influences on his work, his career path, and the future of theatre. Marshall's other credits include Damn Yankees, She Loves Me and Company.

Other upcoming SDCF events are as follows:
March 17, 1999: A seminar with Walter Bobbie will concentrate on the making of cast recordings, including, one would assume, those of Chicago and Footloose . Bill Rosenfield of RCA Victor/BMG Classics, and Jay David Saks will also sit in.
April 9, 1999: SDCF will host a weekend-long symposium on directing classical plays. Topics will include classical text analysis, staging and period movement, stage combat, reinterpreting and adapting Shakespeare, and directing classical texts for the "MTV generation."

April 27, 1999: Actor-director Austin Pendleton will appear within the "One on One" format.
