News Directors Esbjornson, Greif, Kulick, Peterson and Sher Talk in NYTW Panel Nov. 5 David Esbjornson, Michael Greif, Brian Kulick, Lisa Peterson and Bartlett Sher will take part in a free, two-part discussion honoring New York Theatre Workshop's New Directors Project Nov. 5. Original artistic director Jean Passanante will also appear.

The event — launching the company's series of 25th anniversary public programs — will be held from 7:30-9 PM at the NYTW stage, 79 East 4th Street.

The New Directors Project, "which nurtured emerging directors from 1983 to 1990," was created by Passanante. Director Liz Diamond — a participant of the inaugural group — will serve as moderator for the evening.

The evening will begin with a conversation between NYTW's first artistic director, Passanante, and Diamond. Esbjornson, Greif, Kulick, Peterson and Sher will then follow with a panel discussion — accompanied by a video presentation of archival production photos — to be moderated by Diamond.

Tickets for the free program are available to NYTW members, by emailing Ticket Services at [email protected] or by calling the box office at (212) 460-5475. Non-members may reserve in person at the theatre, 79 East 4th Street.
